Pride of La Salle Band

The Pride of La Salle Band gives students the opportunity to grow as musicians, leaders and members of a close-knit community. Through rehearsal, performance, competition and service, students develop discipline, confidence, work ethic and friendships that last well beyond their time at La Salle. Rooted in the guiding principles of Faith, Music and Excellence, the band program uses music as a powerful way to form students. Students are challenged to pursue excellence, support one another and represent La Salle with pride in school, community and regional performances.

Marching Band
The Pride of La Salle Marching Band gives students the opportunity to perform, compete and represent La Salle with energy and pride. Students develop musicianship, marching technique, visual performance skills, leadership and teamwork while becoming part of one of the school’s most recognizable traditions.
Beginning Band
Beginning Band is available to all incoming freshman and gives students a taste of being a part of a concert band. Students learn the basics of their chosen instruments and reading music, along with developing ensemble skills and the personal responsibility needed to be an effective part of a band.
Lasallian Swing Jazz Band
Faith
The Pride of La Salle Band is shaped by the Lasallian tradition and the belief that students grow through community, purpose and service. Students are encouraged to bring their whole selves to the program and to build strong bonds with one another.
Music
Music is the medium through which students grow. Through practice, performance and collaboration, students develop their talents while learning lessons that extend beyond the rehearsal room.
Excellence
The program challenges students to pursue excellence on and off the field. Students learn that success comes through hard work, preparation, accountability and a commitment to something larger than themselves.
Band Boosters
The Pride of La Salle Band Boosters help support the band program and the vision of the band director. Parents, alumni and friends of the program are invited to get involved, attend meetings and help create meaningful experiences for students. Booster meetings are held monthly, and membership is open to anyone 18 or older who is passionate about supporting the Pride of La Salle.
Support the Band
Community support helps sustain and strengthen the Pride of La Salle Band. Families and friends can support the program through fundraising opportunities, including the Scrip program, which allows everyday gift card purchases to benefit the band.
Band Alumni
Pride of La Salle alumni remain an important part of the band’s story. Former members are invited to stay connected, share memories, send photos and continue celebrating the tradition they helped build.
More Than a Band
The Pride of La Salle Band is more than a performance group. It is a place where students grow in confidence, build lasting friendships, discover their talents and learn what it means to pursue excellence together. Through faith, music and brotherhood, students become part of a tradition that continues to shape the La Salle experience.
