At La Salle, students are encouraged to pursue academic opportunities that match their abilities, interests, and goals. Through Advanced Placement and College Credit Plus courses, motivated students can take on college-level work while still benefiting from the support, structure, and brotherhood of the La Salle experience. These opportunities help students:

AP courses give students the opportunity to experience college-level curriculum in a high school setting. AP courses challenge students to think critically, manage their time well, and take ownership of their learning. At the end of the course, students may take the AP exam, which can lead to college credit depending on their score and the policies of the colleges or universities they attend.

College Credit Plus allows eligible students to earn high school and college credit from the University of Cincinnati at the same time. These courses give students the chance to experience college-level expectations while continuing to be part of La Salle’s supportive academic environment. For students who are ready, College Credit Plus can be a meaningful way to get ahead, explore academic interests, and begin building a strong foundation for college success.
