At La Salle High School, being Lasallian is more than a tradition. It is a way of living, learning and leading. Inspired by St. John Baptist de La Salle, our students are called to recognize the presence of God in themselves, in one another and in the world around them. To be Lasallian means to live with faith, respect, compassion and a commitment to others. It means building a brotherhood where every student is known, supported and challenged to become the young man God created him to be.

The Lasallian mission is expressed through values that shape our school community and guide the formation of our students.
Faith in the Presence of God
Lasallian education invites students to recognize that God is present in their daily lives, in their relationships and in the world around them. Through prayer, reflection, worship and service, students are encouraged to grow in faith and respond to God’s presence with gratitude and purpose.
Concern for the Poor and Social Justice
Students are called to see the needs of others and respond with compassion. Through Christian Service, outreach and reflection, La Salle helps students understand their responsibility to stand with those in need and work toward a more just and caring world.
Respect for All Persons
Every person is created in the image of God and deserves to be treated with dignity. La Salle challenges students to build relationships rooted in kindness, understanding and respect, creating a brotherhood where each person is known and valued.
Quality Education
La Salle is committed to forming the whole person through strong academics, faith formation, leadership and personal growth. Students are supported and challenged to use their gifts well and prepare for lives of purpose, service and leadership.

St. John Baptist de La Salle
St. John Baptist de La Salle was a Catholic priest, educator and founder of the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. His life’s work was dedicated to making quality, faith-filled education available to young people, especially those most in need.
Today, his mission continues at La Salle High School through a commitment to forming young men who are known, supported and challenged to grow in faith, character and service. His example reminds students that education is not only about what they learn, but how they use their gifts to serve others.

Becoming Men of Faith and Purpose
The Lasallian experience helps students connect who they are with who they are called to become. Through Mission & Ministry, Christian Service, retreats, pastoral care, leadership opportunities and school-wide traditions, students are formed to lead with humility, act with integrity and serve with compassion.
Being Lasallian means asking important questions:

How can I bring faith into my everyday life?
At La Salle, students do not walk this journey alone. They are surrounded by teachers, coaches, staff, families, alumni and classmates who help them grow into young men of faith, character and purpose.
