Spend a Day as a Lancer
The best way to understand La Salle is to experience it for yourself. A Shadow Day gives current eighth-grade students the opportunity to spend a school day with a La Salle student, attend classes, meet teachers, enjoy lunch, and see what life is like as part of the Lancer brotherhood. From the classroom to the hallways, Shadow Day helps prospective students experience the energy, friendships, faith, and school spirit that make La Salle distinct.

Families who are unable to attend Open House or whose son is not eligible for a Shadow Day may contact the Admissions Office to schedule a personal tour.

What to Expect
What Should Students Wear?
Students should wear business casual attire, such as khaki, black, or navy pants or shorts with a polo shirt, sweater, button-up shirt, grade school shirt, and appropriate shoes. On Fridays, La Salle celebrates spirit days. Students shadowing on a Friday may wear La Salle gear, a red shirt, or grade school spirit wear.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up
Drop-off and pick-up take place through the Alumni Heritage Room located at the rear of the building. A member of the La Salle community will be there to greet students when they arrive.
A Full School Day Experience
Shadow visits begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude at approximately 2:15 p.m. Families are asked to arrive no earlier than 8:15 a.m.
Student Ambassador Match
Each shadow student is paired with a current La Salle student. Families may request a specific host, or La Salle will match the visitor with a student ambassador.
Lunch Is Included
Shadow students are guests of La Salle for the day and will receive lunch.
A Look Inside La Salle
Students will attend classes, meet teachers, interact with current students, and experience the rhythm of a La Salle school day.
Parent Coffee and Tour
Parents dropping off their son are welcome to stay from 8:30-9:30 a.m. for coffee with Jake Pucci, Director of Admissions, to learn more about La Salle, ask questions, discuss the admissions process, and tour the school.
