Available Positions
Substitute Teacher
La Salle High School is looking for substitute teachers to help serve all classes and all grades (9-
12). This is an entry-level substitution teaching role in a private, Catholic high school
environment. Scheduling is extremely flexible. The days needed are frequently scheduled
days in advance, but can also occur on the day of the substitution.
Essential Functions
- Take attendance at the beginning of each bell.
- Keep students on task with pre-written lesson plans.
- Enforce the school guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule and Payroll
- 7:45 am – 3:00 pm on each scheduled day.
- Compensation is paid at $100/day.
Requirements
• An official Ohio Substitute License.
• SafeParish Approved Status (This is mandatory child protection training and background check
program required by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati).
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an
employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk,
use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is
occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must
regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
