Service Immersion Trips give La Salle students the opportunity to put faith into action beyond the walls of the school. Rooted in the Catholic faith and the Lasallian mission, these experiences invite students to encounter new communities, serve with compassion and reflect on how they are called to respond to the needs of others.
Through service, prayer, reflection and relationship-building, students gain a deeper understanding of justice, dignity and the responsibility to care for one another.
Faith in Action
Service Immersion Trips are more than volunteer opportunities. They are experiences of formation. Students are invited to step outside their daily routines, listen to the stories of others and recognize the presence of God in the people and communities they encounter.
Through these trips, students are encouraged to:
• Serve communities with humility and respect
• Learn about the realities and needs of others
• Build compassion, empathy and awareness
• Reflect on faith, justice and human dignity
• Strengthen brotherhood through shared experience
• Discover how service can shape their lives beyond La Salle
Forming Leaders for Others
Service Immersion Trips help students grow as young men who are aware of the world around them and committed to making a difference. By serving others and reflecting on their experiences, students develop the confidence, humility and perspective needed to lead with integrity.
At La Salle, service is part of who we are. Through immersion experiences, students learn to live the mission more deeply and carry it with them into their families, communities and future lives.
