At La Salle, Drama gives students the opportunity to create, perform, lead and belong. Whether a student has years of theatre experience or is stepping onto the stage for the first time, La Salle Drama provides a welcoming place to grow as an artist, teammate and young man. The program is built on creativity, collaboration and community. Students are challenged to take creative risks, develop confidence, support one another and contribute to productions that bring the La Salle community together. From actors and stage managers to lighting designers, set builders, sound crew and parent volunteers, every production is a true team effort.
Where Talent Takes Center Stage
La Salle Drama has a proud tradition of professionalism, creativity and student growth. Under the direction of Kat Ullery, Director of Theatre, the program continues to help students grow not only as performers, but as people. The program also collaborates with local schools to welcome female performers into productions, creating a rich and dynamic ensemble for each show.

Get Involved
There is a place for every student in La Salle Drama. Students can perform on stage, support productions behind the scenes, help promote shows or take on leadership roles throughout the production process. Students can get involved through:
Stage Crew: Design, build, paint and decorate sets
Tech Crew: Design lighting and sound, set up equipment and operate technology during performances
Promotion Crew: Design posters, create marketing materials and help share the story of La Salle Drama
Prop Crew: Find, build or create props for productions
Directing: Help shape the creative vision for a production
Stage Management: Coordinate communication between cast, directors and crew to keep the production organized and on track
Adult and parent volunteers are also an important part of the program and help support the success of each production.
More Than a Drama Club
La Salle Drama is a close-knit company of students, directors, families and volunteers who work together to create something memorable. Along the way, students gain confidence, learn responsibility, build friendships and discover the joy of sharing their gifts with others.
