Summer Work
All La Salle students are required to complete the summer work for the classes listed below that they will be taking in the 2024-25 academic year. Please download and complete the appropriate document for the class you are enrolled in for the 2024-25 year. Optional summer enrichment opportunities are listed at the bottom of the page, students are encouraged to complete but are not required. Students should contact their teachers directly if they have questions or send an email to the main office at [email protected].

Summer Enrichment Opportunities
Math: In Math class, students have been instructed in class how to create an account on Khan Academy to use for their enrichment. By creating this account, they have the ability to access their enrichment from any device, not just a school device. Our goal for your son is that through the enrichment exercises, he demonstrates growth in his MAP score when it is taken in the fall. The attachment to this email explains MAP scores for Math and the correlation to both Ohio Standards as well as College and Career Readiness. Please check with your son for his specific score.
English:
For Summer enrichment, the La Salle High School English Department encourages students to choose a title from the Lexile range in which they tested. If none of those titles are of interest, we encourage students to select a book of similar Lexile range that stirs enthusiasm. The best summer enrichment is to read, even if it is not from our list below.
