Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS)
Multi-tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) is a framework used at La Salle and many high schools across the country to support their students in their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development. The goal of MTSS is to ensure all La Salle students have the support they need to succeed. The MTSS team consists of La Salle school counselors, school psychologist, and assistant principal.
Teachers, counselors, coaches and staff can submit reports to the MTSS team regarding the following areas:
- Academics
- Discipline
- Threats
- Attendance
- Bullying
- Special Needs
- College Support and Graduation Requirements
- Pastoral Care
- Physical/Health Issues
- Financial Issues
- Mental Health Concerns
All submissions are documented by the MTSS team and discussed at MTSS meetings on a bi-weekly basis. The MTSS team will provide necessary supports for each individual student as needed.
